About the Friends of Central Iowa Biking
FCIB is a non-profit group of bicycling enthusiasts dedicated to the promotion, development, and maintenance of bikeways throughout Central Iowa for recreation, fitness, and transportation. We:
- advocate for cyclists, presenting local, county and state officials with legislative and safety concerns;
- promote safe riding through membership programs and bicycle safety rodeos; and
- sponsor rides during the year, and support rides with other organizations.
